Australia’s first bitcoin exchange-traded-fund (ETF) is set to list next week after ASX Clear announced it had enough clearing participants to give it the green light.
Cosmos Asset Management could launch its bitcoin ETF as early as April 27.
Sky News Australia discussed the issue with Cosmos Asset Management CEO Dan K. Annan Jr.
"At Cosmos we've been at the forefront trying to deliver access to the Bitcoin and cryptocurrency asset to the Australian investor," Mr Annan told Sky News Business Editor Ross Greenwood.
"Just yesterday, we heard news that ASX Clear has adequate number of clearing participants, which then sets us up to be able to deliver products within the next seven calendar days."
