BlackRock has filed for a Bitcoin Spot ETF with the SEC and thats a pretty big deal. Black Rock has a 575 to 1 record of having ETFs accepted by the SEC - which means they wont file for it unless they have an extremely high confidence that it will pass.
If successful, that means BTC hits the stock market, and gets wrapped into retirement funds and index funds world wide. That means far more people will be interested in buying the same number of bitcoin as before. The price will go up.
