Bitcoin (BTC-USD) briefly jumped on a report that BlackRock's spot bitcoin ETF had been approved. It's a report that BlackRock denies, saying it's application is still being reviewed by the Securities and Exchange Commission. Bitwise CIO Matt Hougan tells Yahoo Finance Live that the ""tea leaves are pointing toward a potential approval."" ""The SEC has previously been worried about market manipulation, about a lack of maturity in the market, but the bitcoin market of today is not the bitcoin market of a few years ago. It's an institutional market, with institutional players, and institutional custody.""
