In this video, we look at simple and practical ways to earn cryptocurrency without relying on day trading or short-term speculation. Over the last few weeks, many of you joined me in the Midnight scavenger mining event on Cardano, earning NIGHT tokens through browser-based mining. It was a fun and hands-on way to engage with a new network and a great example of what’s possible when you participate directly in blockchain systems.
Now I’m expanding that journey into Bitcoin. I recently picked up a Nerd Miner V2 - a tiny, low-power, open-source Bitcoin miner that uses less than one watt of electricity. It allows you to solo mine Bitcoin from home, with odds far better than winning the lottery. I take you through the device, its touchscreen interface, crypto price ticker, setup process, and why it’s such an enjoyable collector’s item for anyone exploring mining for the first time.
I also give a sneak peek at the next project on my desk: the Iagon Cyclone node. This box will allow me to join the decentralised Iagon storage network and earn rewards for contributing storage capacity. Once I have the right drives installed, I’ll publish a full setup tutorial so you can follow along.
