I also discuss William Hinman's famous 2018 crypto speech, which was given while he was on the payroll of a pro-Ethereum law firm and before he went to work for the crypto pump and dump shop a16z.
Unfortunately for the XRP army and Ethereum, Hinman did not and does not have the power to change the Howey Test and 70 years of US securities law.
It's also quite clear that Gary Gensler is coming for Ethereum next. By moving to proof of stake, Ethereum has only made his job easier.
